This is a list of the presidents of Poland from the establishment of the Second Republic in 1918. It also includes republican protocol heads of state with other official titles ( heads of state , chairman of the Council of State ) and the presidents in exile from 1939 to 1990.

Exiled President of Poland (1939–1990)
From July 1945 onwards, exiled presidents had, with a few exceptions, no international recognition. From 1947 onwards, the Polish army in exile, which was subordinate to the Polish government in exile , was also disbanded and has not exercised any real power since then.
