List of cities in South Tyrol
This is a list of the cities in South Tyrol sorted alphabetically by population.
Municipalities with at least 5000 inhabitants
The following list contains all municipalities in South Tyrol with at least 5000 inhabitants (hence cities in the geographical sense that do not necessarily have city rights ).
The indicated population figures reflect the results of the population censuses (VZ) from 1991, 2001 and 2011 as well as the update of the South Tyrolean State Institute for Statistics. The population figures refer to the respective municipality area. In some cases, they do not contain any fractions (districts), for example near Bozen, but in some cases also contain many incorporated fractions, for example in the case of the Sarntal municipality. In addition, the district community to which the municipality belongs is indicated. The ranking is based on the number of inhabitants in descending order.
- S = municipality, M = market municipality
