Location of Deuben in Freital

The list of streets in Deuben contains all named streets of the Deuben district of the large district town of Freital in the Saxon Switzerland-Eastern Ore Mountains district .

There are 55 named streets and squares in Deuben. Most important for traffic in the district is Dresdner Strasse , which is designated as State Road 194 . The Poisentalstraße also fulfills an important connection function in the direction of Possendorf and to Bundesstraße 170 . It is part of the State Road 36 train . There are also Hüttenstrasse and Bahnhofstrasse and Poststrasse as part of the Freital inner city bypass. The street from Krönertstrasse, Mühlenstrasse and Körnerstrasse connects the residential areas in the town center to the larger streets.

The regional transport Saxon Switzerland & Eastern Ore Mountains GmbH operates in the district at the cottage road from where the lines of the bus terminal, city transport Freital run. All major streets in Deuben are used by bus lines and also have stops.

Brückenstraße crosses the “Mühlenviertel” residential area that was laid out in the 1990s and is a pedestrian zone there. Only the northern part is accessible from Poisentalstrasse. The corner house at Brückenstrasse 1, at the confluence with Poisentalstrasse, is a listed building.

Döhlen , district of Freital The Döhlener Straße is partly integrated into the Freital-Deuben bus station, the southeastern part from Fuhrmannstraße was redesigned as a pedestrian area during the construction of the bus station.

Dresden , capital of Saxony As the most important street in the district, Dresdner Strasse is part of state roads S 36 and S 194. The closed row of houses at Dresdner Strasse 190-200 is listed as a historical monument. In addition, the former Deuben town hall (today a branch of the city administration) and several protected Wilhelminian-style houses are on the street. In 1902 the Plauensche Grundbahn , a tram line from Plauen ending in Deuben, was opened and in 1906 it was extended to Hainsberg via Dresdner Straße. After 72 years of operation, tram traffic on Dresdner Strasse was discontinued in 1974.

Until 1964 the street was called “Obere Dresdner Straße” in the Deuben area, then it was combined with the “Untere Dresdner Straße” located in Potschappel and parts of Döhlen.

Valley of the Poisenbach Poisentalstrasse ( Staatsstrasse 194 ) begins on Dresdner Strasse and leads through the Poisenwald towards Possendorf. Right at the beginning there is a listed row of houses out of town on the right-hand side, including the former "Deutsche Eiche" inn. The factory building of the former Sohre leather factory is also characteristic of the townscape . Until 1972 the Poisentalstraße was used by the Deuben freight railway until the confluence with the Körnerstraße .
