The London E-Prix is an automobile race of the FIA Formula E Championship in London , United Kingdom . It was first held in 2015 . The tenth and eleventh Formula E races took place as part of the 2015 London ePrix , and it was also the season finale of the first season of the championship.
history
The London E-Prix will be held on a purpose-built temporary race track in Battersea Park . The first London E-Prix was held as a double header , the first race won by Sébastien Buemi , the second race by Sam Bird .
The second London E-Prix also took place as a double header , Nicolas Prost won both races. In the run-up to the event, the organizers of the FIA Formula E Championship reached an out-of-court agreement with opponents of the race not to hold the contractually stipulated third race weekend in 2017.
