Lucerna was a Swiss car brand.

Company history

AH Grivel was director of the Schweizerhof garage in Lucerne and importer of Aster engines. In 1907, he began producing automobiles under the Lucerna brand . In 1909, production ended after only a few copies had been made. In 1910, seven Lucerna vehicles were registered in Switzerland.

Four passenger car models were on offer. These were the 10/14 PS , the 14/18 PS and the 20/24 PS with four-cylinder engines and the 20/24 PS with six-cylinder engines . The engines came from Aster and the chassis from Malicet & Blin . The engine power was transmitted to the rear axle by means of a cardan shaft . The 10/12 HP and 12/14 HP truck models with two-cylinder engines and chain drives were also created.
