Ludwig Rader

Ludwig Rader (born July 23, 1948 in Waiern , Feldkirchen in Carinthia ) is a former Austrian politician ( FPÖ ).

Life

Rader was a member of the Styrian Landtag from 1983 to 1995 , where he held the functions of FPÖ club chairman and third president. From 1985 to 1988 he was also regional party leader of the Styrian FPÖ, before he resigned this position - as a representative of the liberal, pro-European wing, increasingly in conflict with the growing Jörg Haider .

In November 2001 Rader resigned from the FPÖ because it no longer corresponded to his liberal principles. Until November 2010, Rader headed the Styrian regional government's European and foreign relations department as an official.
