Franz Koller junior

Franz Koller (born June 17, 1920 in Johnsdorf (today: Fehring municipality ), † April 14, 2004 in Fürstenfeld ) was an Austrian politician ( ÖVP ) and farmer. From 1970 to 1975 he was a member of the National Council .

Life

Koller graduated from elementary school in Hatzendorf and continued his education through agricultural courses. From June 1938 to 1945 he was a member of the NSDAP with membership number 6,320,664. He worked in his parents' farm and took over the business in 1958. Koller was involved in local politics as deputy mayor in the community of Johnsdorf and was a member of the Styrian state parliament between 1953 and 1970. In the state parliament he held the office of third president from 1965 to 1969, from 1969 he was president of the Styrian state parliament. He also acted as chairman of the district council of Fehring and was an organizational officer for the ÖVP main district party leadership in Feldbach. The ÖVP represented Koller between March 31, 1970 and November 4, 1975 in the National Council.
