Walburga Beutl

Walburga Beutl (born May 6, 1946 ) is an Austrian politician (ÖVP) and second state parliament president of the Styrian state parliament .

School and professional career

Beutl first attended the Eberau elementary school and then graduated from the Fürstenfeld high school . After graduating, she studied at the Pedagogical Academy in Graz and completed her teaching examinations in 1967/73. First she worked as a primary school teacher, later as a secondary school teacher.

She has been a district school inspector since 1990 and is currently working on a replacement job in the field of teacher training.

Political career

In addition to her role as a member of the state parliament and 2nd state parliament president, Beutl is the state director and deputy federal director of the ÖVP women's movement . She is also the deputy district party leader and member of the state executive committee of the ÖAAB .

She is subsequently the district and state chairwoman of the ÖVP teachers' association.

Private

Walburga Beutl is married and has one son. She lives in Sankt Anna am Aigen .
