Marco Sanchez (born January 9, 1970 in Los Angeles , California ) is an American actor and producer . He was best known for one of the leading roles in SeaQuest DSV and guest appearances in Navy CIS .

Life

Marco Sanchez is the son of Cuban parents and has three older siblings. He grew up in Palm Desert , California. He was already involved in acting and theater during his school days.

From 1988 Sanchez attended the University of California, Los Angeles , where he made his Bachelor of Arts in 1992 . In the summer of 1989 he took a course at the British-American Drama Academy in Oxford , England . In 1991 he co-founded the Buffalo Nights Theater Company. As a result, he was on the theater stage several times.

In 1990 he made his first television appearance in an episode of Knots Landing . From 1993 to 1995, Sanchez played a leading role in the sci-fi series seaQuest DSV . He had a recurring supporting role in the action series Walker, Texas Ranger , as Carlos Sandoval. Sanchez also played this role in the spin-off Sons of Thunder , but the series was not renewed after one season.

In 2006 he founded Lyceum Films , a production company with Noah Veneklasen and Michael Goorjian . He was a producer for short films and videos. In 2012 he produced films and wrote the screenplay for one of them.

Mainly Sanchez played guest roles in various television series, but also sometimes supporting roles in movies. In 2010 he had guest appearances in the hit series Navy CIS , in 2014 he starred again in an episode.

Marco Sanchez lives in Los Angeles with his wife and daughter.
