Marcus Weber (born November 2, 1992 in Garmisch-Partenkirchen ) is a German ice hockey player who has been under contract with the Nürnberg Ice Tigers in the DEL since 2013 .

Career

Weber initially went through all youth departments at SC Riessersee and already had his first appearances in the first team of SC Riessersee in the 2009/10 season, when he was used in three matches in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey . In the 2010/11 season he was in the regular line-up of the Oberliga team, but injured himself towards the end of regular time, which is why he could not compete in the playoffs.

At the end of June 2011 Weber announced his contract extension with SC Riessersee , which competed in the 2nd Bundesliga ice hockey in the 2011/12 season. After it became known in May 2012 that his contract with SC Riessersee would not be extended, Weber and Tobias Biersack moved to the upper division EC Peiting .

For the 2013/14 season Weber signed a three-year contract with the Nürnberg Ice Tigers and was initially and in parallel for the Löwen Frankfurt in the DEL2 .

In 2010, Marcus Weber was selected to hand over the so-called bid book , which contained the Olympic application for hosting the 2018 Winter Olympics in Munich and Garmisch-Partenkirchen, to the IOC in Lausanne together with Katarina Witt and Bernhard Schwank .
