Martin Hofmann (producer)
Martin Hofmann (* 1956 in Munich ) is a German film producer .
After an internship, Martin Hofmann worked as a unit manager from 1979 and from 1980 as a production manager for various German television productions. In 1989 he became deputy production manager at Bavaria Film in Munich .
In 1995 he was appointed the founding managing director of Saxonia Media , where he established the series In all friendship . In 1997 he became managing director of Askania Media in Berlin , where he produced the series Schloss Einstein in addition to Tatort episodes for RBB and SR . In 2007 he also became managing director of ProSaar media production .
From 1989 to 2012 he was a lecturer at the HFF Munich , Department V, Production and Media Management, and from 2013 to 2019 on the board of the TV section of the producers' alliance . He has been a member of the board of trustees of the Babelsberg Film University since 2017 .
