Michael Klaukien (born September 9, 1974 in Cologne ) is a German film composer and music producer . He plays the drums and the piano .

Life

Klaukien studied artistic instrumental training at the Cologne University of Music and received his diploma in 2002. He also played drums in bands of various genres. As a film composer he wrote a. a. the music for several episodes of the ARD Tatort series including “Tango for Borowski”, “Helpless”, “Adam's Nightmare” (director: Hannu Salonen), the multi-part event “The Godmother” with Veronica Ferres (director: Miguel Alexandre), for Comedies such as “Little Ships” with Katja Riemann and Aylin Tezel (director: Matthias Steurer), as well as for fairy tale films by ARD z. B. “Cinderella” and “Hansel and Gretel” (director: Uwe Janson), but also for award-winning documentaries such as B. "Summer '39" by Mathias Haentjes. Together with Andreas Lonardoni, he has been working as a composer and producer team miramusic since 2001 .

Michael Klaukien lives near Cologne.
