Michael Sollbauer (born May 15, 1990 in Klein Sankt Paul ) is an Austrian football player on the position of a defender .

Career

Sollbauer began his active career as a football player in 1996 in his hometown of Klein Sankt Paul in the Sankt Veit an der Glan district in Carinthia , where he was active in the offspring of WSG Wietersdorf . After going through several youth league classes, in July 2004 he received an offer from FC Kärnten , which at that time was playing in the second-rate first division after the professional team was relegated to the last place in the table from the top division in Austria in the 2003/04 preseason was.
