Andreas Lasnik (born November 9, 1983 in Voitsberg ) is a former Austrian soccer player and national player .

education

After school, Andreas began an apprenticeship in his father's optician business. He broke this off to pursue a career as a professional footballer.

Career

He began his career in the youth of FC Lankowitz and came via ASK Köflach , where he was already a regular player with his brother Fritz at the age of 17, after a short time to AKA OÖ West and in January 2002 to SV Ried . The offensive midfielder made his debut in the Bundesliga for the Innviertel team and, after relegating to the first division in the meantime, was promoted to the Bundesliga again in the 2004/05 season , where he scored ten goals himself and was also elected the “young star” of the first division . In the summer of 2005 he moved to Vienna Austria , which was followed by his debut in the Austrian national team on October 8, 2005 in the World Cup qualifier against England . He came into the match for Andreas Ibertsberger nine minutes before the end of the game.

Under Frenkie Schinkels , Andreas Lasnik won the double from the championship and the ÖFB Cup in 2006 - without a final appearance - as a supplementary player. In the following year the Styrian became a regular player at the Veilchen and prepared the interim 1-1 win under Georg Zellhofer against SV Mattersburg and scored the winning goal just two minutes later. Additionally appearances came in the group stage of the UEFA Cup in 2007 and 2008. After the midfielder again lost his regular place in his third Austria-season - he played in the spring of 2008, only 167 Bundesliga minutes - he separated from the Austria and changed free transfer to German Second division Alemannia Aachen . Lasnik made his debut for Alemannia on August 24, 2008 against Hansa Rostock , when he came on for Florian Müller in the 74th minute .

For the 2010/2011 season, his contract with Alemannia Aachen was not extended and he moved to Willem II in the first Dutch league. Willem II was relegated this season, but Lasnik was able to convince as his club's top scorer. His achievements brought him into conversation at numerous other clubs, but he decided to stay in the Netherlands and play the 2011/12 season with the Eredivisie club NAC Breda . After he was no longer in demand in his second season with the Brabantern, Lasnik moved to the Greek first division club Panionios Athens for the 2013/14 season . In September 2014 Lasnik returned to Austria and signed with Kapfenberger SV , where his contract with the second division club was terminated in January 2016 and he thus ended his career as an active footballer.

National team

Andreas Lasnik came to some youth national team assignments for Austria, from the U19 to the U23. His only appearance in the national team was in the qualifier for the 2006 World Cup against England, when he was substituted on for Andreas Ibertsberger in the 81st minute in the 0-1 defeat at Old Trafford Stadium . It was also an integral part of the ÖFB's Challenge 08 project , but team boss Josef Hickersberger did not consider it for the Euro 2008 in their own country.

Play style

Standard situations are Lasnik's specialty, these have earned him a very good reputation. In the 2004/2005 season, the left-footed player secured promotion to the Bundesliga on the penultimate match day with a free kick in the 88th minute for SV Ried . The technology is also one of Lasnik's strengths. Lasnik also caused a stir in the game against Viking Stavanger with a volley goal from 40 meters away.

In 2008 Lasnik was photographed as a guest model for Dolce & Gabbana at the Milan Fashion Week , but according to an interview with bild.de it was only a one-off.
