He made his debut for FC Red Bull Salzburg on November 9, 2014 in the away game against SCR Altach , when he came on for Konrad Laimer in the 62nd minute . This was his only Bundesliga appearance in his first season. For the 2015/16 season, FC Red Bull Salzburg finally acquired the transfer rights to Prevljak, who also remained with FC Liefering as a cooperation player.

The Bosnian scored his first Bundesliga goal for FC Red Bull Salzburg on August 23, 2015 in a 2-2 draw against Austria Vienna. In the game between FC Liefering and Austria Lustenau, Prevljak tore the cruciate ligament in his left knee.

In January 2020 he was sent to Belgium to the KAS Eupen awarded. Until the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic , he played five of six possible games for KAS Eupen.
