Michel Picard (* 4. March 1954 ) is a former French lightweight - rowers .

Michel Picard began rowing in 1964. Like his brother André Picard, he rowed for the rowing club in Chalon-sur-Saône .

At the 1975 World Championships in Nottingham, the French Francis Pelegri , Michel Picard, André Coupat and André Picard won the lightweight four without a helmsman , ahead of the British and the Australians. In 1976 in Villach the four French were able to defend their title and won ahead of the Norwegians and Danes. In 1977 in Amsterdam the French won their third title in a row, this time ahead of the Australians and the Dutch.

In 1979 Michel Picard took seventh place with the lightweight eighth at the World Championships in Bled .
