Mighty B! Here comes Bessie ( English. The Mighty B ! , alternative title Mighty B ) is an American animated series from 2008, which was created by Amy Poehler , Cynthia True and Erik Wiese . Parts of the production team also worked on the animated series Ren and Stimpy and SpongeBob SquarePants .
The series is about the girl Bessie Higgenbottom, who has set herself the goal of earning all the badges of the scout organization "honey bees". If it has all the badges, it becomes the "Mighty Bee" (in German Mighty bee named).
Characters
main characters
- Bessie Kajolica Higgenbottom is the nine-year-old, ambitious protagonist. Bessie would be popularly called a nerd, because she looks forward to homework and classwork at school. She is a member of a boy scout group, the honey bees, with heart and soul. Collecting badges is her greatest passion and she has made it her determination to earn all kinds of badges and thereby become the ultimate Mighty Bee. As a constant companion she has the imaginary figure " finger ", which is drawn on her index finger to look like a smiley face . She often has conversations with a finger, which is by her side in difficult situations or questions.
- Happy Walter Higgenbottom is Bessie's dog . At first, Happy was a stray dog until Bessie found him. He has human features and can dance, he eats both dog food and human food. He is a member of the “Bacon of the Month Club”.
- Benjamin "Ben" Higgenbottom is Bessie's six year old brother. He often helps Bessie with her problems and is shy, he also disguises himself as a nurse .
- Hilary Higgenbottom is the single mother of Bessie and Benjamin. She runs a café and has positive karma, she is easy to convince.
- Finger is Bessie's left index finger and her imagination friend at the same time. Every morning Bessie draws him a happy face and in the evening a sleeping face, she often speaks to him.

- Penny Lefcowitz is Bessie's asthmatic, clumsy, and sometimes tired, best friend. She is also friends with Portia and Gwen and helpful.
- Mary Frances Gibbons is the honeybee group leader and the mother of Portia. She became a group leader because she has a good relationship with children.
- Portia Gibbons is Bessie's vain enemy who expects to be treated like a celebrity. Your pet is a chihuahua . She mocks Bessie and gives her the name "Messy Stinkinbottom".
- Gwen is Portia's smart friend. Her area of interest is music and fashion.
- Rocky Rhodes is a thirteen year old skateboarder and works as a waiter in Hilary's Café. Portia is in love with him and he plays in a rock band.
- Anton St. Germain is the city's judge . He is a friend of Mary Franciss Gibbons and is rich.
- Mr. Wu is the owner of the Chinese restaurant “Mr. Wu's ”. His regular customers are the Higgenbottoms.
- The Hippie is a nameless hippie and friend of Bessie's. When his hobbies are not painting murals, riding or unicycling, he runs his farm shop.
- Millie is a honey bee scout. She speaks slowly and owns a turtle named Chester Turtleton. She has hypoglycemia .
