Milan Luković ( Serbian - Cyrillic Милан Луковић ; born December 12, 1986 in Belgrade , Yugoslavia ) is a Serbian ice hockey goalkeeper who has been under contract with HK Partizan Belgrade in the Serbian ice hockey league since 2011 .

Career

Milan Luković began his career as an ice hockey goalkeeper at HK TAS Nowigrad Belgrade , for whom he played in the Yugoslav ice hockey league as a 15-year-old . From 2004 to 2006 he was under contract with the KHK Red Star Belgrade and was Serbian-Montenegrin champion with the club in 2005. After a year with local rivals HK Beostar , he moved to Novi Sad in 2007 , where he played for one year each for HK Vojvodina and HK Novi Sad in the Serbian ice hockey league. He then returned to the Serbian capital and, after two more years with the Red Star, has been playing for HK Partizan Belgrade since 2011 , with whom he was Serbian champion from 2012 to 2016 . In the 2011/12 season he also played with Partizan in the Slohokej League , which he was also able to win with the club.

International

For Yugoslavia Luković was in the junior division at the U18 World Championships in Division III 2002 in goal. After the country split up, he played for Serbia and Montenegro at the U18 World Championships in Division II in 2003 and 2004 and in the U20 World Championships in Division II in 2003 , 2004 , 2005 and 2006 .

In the men's area, he took part in the World Championships of Division II in 2005 and 2006 with the Serbian-Montenegrin team . After Montenegro separated from Serbia, he played with the Serbian selection at the 2007 , 2008 , 2009 World Cups , when he was voted the best goalkeeper of the tournament with the third best catch rate after the Icelander Dennis Hedström and the Estonian Villem-Henrik Koitmaa , 2011 , 2012 , 2013 , when he was named the best player of his team, 2014 , 2015 and 2017 , but when he was not used, also in Division II. After promotion in 2009, he joined the 2010 team from the Balkans Division I, but had to accept immediate relegation there. He also represented Serbia in the qualifying tournaments for the Winter Olympics in Vancouver in 2010 and in Sochi in 2014 .
