Mitzi Hoag

Mitzi Hoag (* 25. September 1932 in Cleveland as Margaret Myrtle Hoag ; † 26. February 2019 in Sherman Oaks , California ) was an American actress .

Life

Mitzi Hoag attended Shimer College in Mount Carroll and was one of the first five people to do a Bachelor of Arts there in 1952 . She then studied at Case Western Reserve University . She then studied acting in New York and Los Angeles . At first she worked as a theater actress. A highlight was the title role in James Forsyth's drama Heloise , a play that ran off-Broadway for seven months from September 1958 .

In 1963 she made her film debut in Sandra and the Doctor and also made her television debut in Smoking Colts . While her film career remained clear ( The Trip , The Priest's Beloved , The Incredible Story of Mrs. K., or Every Night Counts ), she has appeared in the series Bonanza , Hawaii Five-Zero , The Partridge Family , Alias ​​Smith and Jones, among others , Shaft , little House , the incredible Hulk , the Waltons , the Rockford Files - just call , TJ Hooker , Falcon Crest , Highway to Heaven , Jake and McCabe - through thick and thin and Knots Landing to see. She also had a recurring role on Here Come the Brides and the female lead alongside Paul Sorvino in We'll Get By , which only ran for one season. She was also in front of the camera in all four episodes of the miniseries Blind Ambition in 1979 .

Mitzi Hoag was dubbed by Almut Eggert , Karin David , Renate Pichler , Marianne Lutz , Elisabeth Ried , Renate Grosser and Christel Merian, among others .

Mitzi Hoag was married to lawyer Stephen A. Wolfson from 1959 to 1967 (divorce). She had a daughter with him, Abbie. From 1976 she was married to Jonathan David Begas. She died at home in Sherman Oaks on February 26, 2019.
