Mrtník is a municipality in the Czech Republic . It is located in the middle of the Plzeň-Nord district , about 26 km north of the city of Plzeň . Mrtník borders on Kaznějov to the east and Dolní Bělá to the west . The community was first mentioned in writing in 1420.
