Krsy (German. Girsch ) is a municipality in the Plzeň Nord district , Czech Republic . It is located about 36 km northwest of Plzeň . Most of the residents live in the district of Krsy.
history
Krsy was first mentioned in writing in 1183, when Vladislav II left the place Manětín to the Order of St. John , who in 1187 established a commander there.
Community structure
The municipality consists of the districts Kejšovice, Polínka, Skelná Huť, Trhomné and Krsy. The abandoned place Umíř is no longer an official district.
