Stojkówko ( German  Neu Stöckow ) is a residential area in the West Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . He belongs to Gmina Dygowo (rural community Degow) in Powiat Kołobrzeski ( Powiat Kolberg) .

Geographical location

The living space is in Western Pomerania , about 115 kilometers northeast of Stettin and about 9 kilometers east of Kołobrzeg (Kolberg) .

history

The living space was laid out after 1840: After the separation in the area of the village of Stöckow , the Stöckow wood, located northwest of the village, was cleared in order to create farm sites on the area. By 1864 twelve new settlers' farms had been built. The courtyards were laid out at greater intervals along a country road leading from the southwest to the northeast, but only on the southeast side of the road, as the Kolberger Stadtwald, which belonged to the Kolberg district , is on the other side . The settlement was named Neu Stöckow.

Neu Stöckow did not form its own political unit, but belonged to the rural community of Stöckow. In 1864 there were 109 inhabitants in Neu Stöckow, in 1895 70 inhabitants and in 1925 131 inhabitants. Before 1945, Neu Stöckow was part of the rural community of Stöckow in the Kolberg-Körlin district of the Prussian province of Pomerania .

After 1945 Neu Stöckow, like all of Western Pomerania, came to Poland. The place received the Polish place name Stojkówko . Today only the houses at the southwest end of the residential area still exist.
