Not another teen movie! is a film parody by Joel Gallen from 2001. The film combines clichés that are familiar from American teen films.
action
At John Hughes High School, Jake, the school's favorite guy, bets arrogantly Austin that he can make Janey the prom queen. His sister Catherine, who loves her brother incestuously , gives him tips, which is why he sleeps with her. The project seems daring, as Janey is the outwardly unattractive outsider. But Jake realizes their true qualities, and the two teenagers fall in love. When he finally tells her about the bet, she leaves him very disappointed. She wants to fly to Paris to study art there, but Jake can hold her back at the last moment and confess his love to her. So the two come together in the end.

Reviews
Not another teen film was received with mostly negative reviews; only 29% of the reviews on the US critic portal Rotten Tomatoes were positive. The film did have some funny moments, but viewers would have to tolerate fecal and sex humor. The lexicon of international films wrote, for example: “Unsuccessful attempt to parody the current teen films, the plot of which is made up of set pieces from the greatest successes of the genre, but demonstratively avoids their warmth in dealing with the characters. Instead, the film exposes the characters to an escalation of disgust, which is supposed to conceal the lack of any comedy, and ruthlessly plays a perverse game of exploitation. "
