action

The action takes place in the sunny regions of Italy, near Portofino. There Madeleine, who belongs to a small hit combo, is supposed to try to ensnare and bewitch the smart and handsome Teddy Hill, head of a large music band, with her charms, in the hope that she will keep him on for longer than necessary small vacation island. The reason for this maneuver: The hit combo is planning to play at the upcoming wedding of the oil magnate Albekian with the capricious singer Helene La Porta and wants to use this trick to keep the talented competition Teddy Hills at bay. Hill takes up this game, believing that Madeleine is none other than Albekian's daughter and then develops an interest in the pretty young lady. After several amusing entanglements, the two tricky opponents finally become a couple.

Reviews

Paimann's film lists summed up: “Again offers a poor plot with, partly uninvolved, acting - see Philipp! - fraying performers give rise to hits; tumultuous and noisy, in a southern-romantic environment (Portofino), acceptable tone, somewhat yellowish color photography. "

"Schlagerschnulze in front of an Italian holiday backdrop."
