Ellen Sofie Olsvik

Ellen Sofie Olsvik (born July 7, 1962 in Norway ) is a former Norwegian orienteer and ski orienteer .

Olsvik won the first Orienteering World Cup in 1986 . At world championships she won a silver and a gold medal with the Norwegian relay team in 1985 and 1987 (with Ragnhild Bratberg , Ragnhild Bente Andersen and Brit Volden ). With her she also became Nordic Champion in 1984 and 1986. In 1983 and 1987 she was Norwegian champion on the long distance, in 1986 with the relay.

In ski orienteering, Olsvik won World Championship gold in 1986 in the relay with Toril Hallan and Ragnhild Bratberg.

Olsvik ran for the clubs Nydalens Skiklubb , Bækkelagets SK , NTHI , Orkanger IF and Byåsen IL .
