Since the Austrian Olympic Committee was not founded until 1908, a committee was set up for the dispatch of athletes from Cisleithanien , the Austria / Bohemia part of Austria-Hungary , as was already the case for the Olympic Games in Athens . The Vienna Comité for the feeding of the Paris Olympic Games in 1900 was again supported by a group of nobles. Among them was, as in 1896, Count Eduard Lamezan-Salins .
How many Austrians took part in the Summer Olympics in 1900 is not entirely clear. On the homepage of the Austrian Olympic Comité , there are 9 athletes in one place and 11 in another place. For further confusion u. a. the question of whether the team driving should be counted among the Olympic competitions in Paris. On this page all 15 athletes are listed for whose competitions there are records.
