At the Austrian long-course swimmer championships in Innsbruck, Felix Auböck reached the Olympic limit over 800 meters crawl in early August 2019. At the Junior World Championships in Budapest in August 2019, Lena Grabowski beat the Olympic limit for Tokyo 2020 over 200 m back. Christopher Rothbauer (200 m chest) and Bernhard Reitshammer also qualified .
