The Olympic Committee of Kosovo ( Albanian Komiteti Olimpik i Kosovës , KOK , Serbian Олимпијски комитет Косова Olimpijski komitet Kosova , OKK ) is the National Olympic Committee , which represents the Republic of Kosovo at the Olympic Games . The committee was founded in 1992. Admission as a member of the IOC and the Olympic Movement took place on December 1, 2014.
The Kosovo took the first time in 2015 at the European Games in Baku as well as the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro in part. Judoka Majlinda Kelmendi became the first Kosovar medalist after her victory in the 52 kg class.
