PGC 52123 is the name of an elliptical galaxy in the constellation Bootes . The galaxy has an interactive relationship with the barred spiral galaxy IC 4462 and is cataloged with it as Arp 95 . Halton Arp organized his catalog of unusual galaxies into groups according to purely morphological criteria. This galaxy belongs to the class spiral galaxies with an elliptical companion on one arm (Arp catalog) .
