Paul Edwards (racing driver)
Paul Edwards (born December 30, 1947 ) is a retired British racing car driver .
Career
Paul Edwards was active as a sports car driver in the 1980s and 1990s . He also took part in the races of the World Sports Car Championship and the BPR Global GT Series . His best finish in the world championship was 15th overall in the 1981 Brands Hatch 1000 km race , together with Barry Robinson in the Porsche Carrera RSR .
Once he finished in the top three of the overall standings in an international endurance race . At the 1000 km race in Paris in 1995 , he achieved second place overall in the Porsche 911 GT2 as a partner to Robert Nearn and Bill Farmer .
