Paul Thomas (born December 11, 1888 in Breslau , † after 1948) was a German racing cyclist .

Paul Thomas was a professional athlete from 1910 to 1929 . His specialty were standing races . In 1922 he became German champion in this discipline; three times - 1914, 1923 and 1924 vice-champion. In 1915 he took third place. Thomas himself later described the victory in the anniversary award of the city of Wroclaw as the most beautiful of his successes. In this race he was also able to beat the German champion Peter Günther , who came second.

In January 1948, the magazine Illustrierter Radsport-Express reported the appearance of Paul Thomas at the “ Robl Memorial ” cycle race in Munich, where he also lived at the time.
