Gustav Janke (born April 14, 1883 in Berlin ; † July 14, 1959 there ) was a German racing cyclist .

In 1908 Gustav Janke took second place at the world championships for amateur stayers in Berlin . In 1913 he was runner-up in the European championship for professional stayers and also German champion. On September 12, 1915, he won the war championship for endurance cyclists over 100 kilometers in Leipzig with an eight lap lead over Arthur Stellbrink . He drove many of his races behind the pacemaker Werner Krüger .

In 1910, Janke was also second in the six-day race in Kiel , together with Max Kendelbacher.

In 1918 Gustav Janke resigned from active cycling and built a successful business life in Berlin, including the construction of a parking garage.
