Stefan Klare (born May 9, 1971 in Bielefeld ) is a former German cyclist .

Stefan Klare started cycling at the age of nine and was initially quite successful in road races until he turned to standing sport in the early 1990s . From the mid-1990s to the mid-2000s, Stefan Klare was one of the most successful standers in Germany. In 2003 and 2004 he was German champion, in previous years he had made several podium places in German championships. In 2000 he became vice European champion, in 2001 he took third place.

After retiring from active cycling, Stefan Klare continued to be involved in cycling: he acts as the sporting director at stalker races on the Bielefeld cycling track and trains the youngsters.
