Torsten Rellensmann (born December 27, 1962 in Dortmund ) is a former German cyclist .

Athletic career

Rellensamnn started as an amateur for the Sturmvogel Dortmund club . In 1989, Torsten Rellensmann became the European standing champion , and in the same year he took third place in the professional standing group at the UCI track world championships. The following year he was able to repeat his success at the European Championships. Twice - in 1989 and 1996 - he was the German standing champion. In 1995 he was German Dernymeister in forest with pacemakers Peter Bäuerlein .

In 1989 Rellensmann finished second at the Dortmund six-day race together with Tony Doyle .
