Peace, Love & Truth is a compilation album by John Lennon , also the 14th posthumously published after his death in 1980. At the same time it is the total including the eight solo studio albums and the avant-garde albums, the live and interview albums and other compilations 26. Lennon's album. It was released on August 4, 2005 mainly in Asia and Australia .

History of origin

In August 2005, EMI (EMI South East Asia) released a compilation album by John Lennon, which was mainly released in Asia and Australia. The composition of the songs is unusual compared to other compilation albums by John Lennon. There are only seven single A-pages on the album, two demo recordings by John Lennon (Real Love [Short Version] and Help Me to Help Myself) ; two songs sung by Yoko Ono: Give Peace a Chance (Y2K +) and Listen the Snow Is Falling ; a reinterpretation of Give Peace a Chance and six songs from studio albums by John Lennon.

Give Peace a Chance Remix 2005 (featuring The Voices of Asia) is a new recording of the song with Asian singers, with passages from the original recording being faded in. Give Peace a Chance (Y2K +) is a completely new recording and reinterpretation by Yoko Ono. Listen the Snow Is Falling is the B-side of the single Happy Xmas (War Is Over) . The name (remix) behind eight songs indicates that these recordings come from the remixed re-releases that were released between 2000 and 2005.

The CD comes with a 20-page illustrated booklet containing information about the album.

Since the CD was released regionally and is only available via import, it did not hit the charts in the USA, Great Britain or Germany. There was no publication in LP format.
