Pyotr Vladimirovich Botschkarev
Pyotr Wladimirowitsch Botschkarjow ( Russian Пётр Владимирович Бочкарёв , English transcription Pyotr Bochkaryov ; born November 3, 1967 in Moscow ) is a former Russian pole vaulter .
In 1991, Botschkarev won bronze at the Universiade for the Soviet Union and the following year as a member of the United Team gold at the 1992 European Athletics Indoor Championships in Genoa.
As the representative of Russia, he defended his title at the European Indoor Championships in Paris in 1994 .
In 1996 he won bronze at the European Indoor Championships in Stockholm and was fifth at the Olympic Games in Atlanta .
In 1992 he was indoor champion of the Commonwealth of Independent States , in 1996 and 1998 Russian indoor champion.
