Igor Vladimirovich Pavlov

Igor Wladimirowitsch Pavlov ( Russian Игорь Владимирович Павлов , English transcription Igor Pavlov ; born July 18, 1979 in Moscow ) is a Russian pole vaulter .

In 2003 he won silver at the Universiade and in 2004 gold at the World Indoor Championships in Budapest . In 2005 he became European indoor champion.

At the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, at the 2005 World Championships in Helsinki and at the 2007 World Championships in Osaka, he reached fourth place. In Osaka he improved his personal record to 5.81 meters.

Igor Pavlov is 1.87 m tall and has a competition weight of 78 kg.
