The 1953/54 season was the 19th edition of the Polish ice hockey championship. Legia Warszawa became champions for the fifth time in the club's history .

mode

The championship was initially divided into two regional groups in the main round. The first two in each group qualified for the final round. The first place in the final round became champions. The teams in places 3 and 4 of the two main round groups contested a placement round for place 5. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.
