The 1976/77 season was the 42nd season of the Polish Ice Hockey League , the highest Polish ice hockey division . Podhale Nowy Targ became champions for the ninth time in the club's history . Legia Warsaw , Stal Sanok and KS Pomorzanin Toruń were relegated to the 2nd division.
