The 2004/05 season was the 70th season of the Polish Ice Hockey League , the highest Polish ice hockey division . GKS Tychy became champion for the first time in the club's history .

mode

In the main round, the eight teams played a total of 35 games. All eight teams qualified for the playoffs in which the champions were played out. Each team received three points for a win after regular time, two points for a win after overtime, one point for a tie and defeat after overtime and zero points for a defeat after regular time.
