Rüdingsdorf is a district of the city of Luckau in the Brandenburg district of Dahme-Spreewald .

Rüdingsdorf is located in Niederlausitz . Neighboring places are Zützen (to Golßen ) in the north, Zauche (to Kasel-Golzig ) in the northeast, Kreblitz in the east, Gießmannsdorf in the south, Zieckau and Caule in the west and Jetsch (to Kasel-Golzig) in the northwest. The federal road 96 and the district road 6138 run through the village .

history

Rüdingsdorf was mentioned in a document on September 5, 1436 under the name Rudegersdorff . Other earlier place names were Rudingstorf (1497), Radenstorff (1527) and again Rudingstorf in 1537 .

Since 1952 Rüdingsdorf has belonged to the Luckau district in the Cottbus district . On April 1st, 1974 Rüdingsdorf was incorporated into Gießmannsdorf . As part of the community Giessmannsdorf Rüdingsdorf was from 25 May 1992 at the Office Luckau . On November 30, 1997, Rüdingsdorf was separated from the community of Gießmannsdorf and incorporated into the city of Luckau .
