Paserin ( Lower Sorbian Póžarin ) is a district of the city of Luckau in the Brandenburg district of Dahme-Spreewald .

Paserin is located in Lower Lusatia . Neighboring places are Kümmritz in the north, Zieckau in the northeast, Pelkwitz in the east, Zöllmersdorf in the southeast, Uckro in the south and Pitschen-Pickel in the west. Bundesstraße 102 runs south of Paserin . The Falkenberg – Beeskow West railway runs south of Paserin, and the Berlin – Dresden railway line runs west .
history
Paserin was first mentioned in a document in 1290. The place name probably comes from the Lower Sorbian term pozar for slash and burn , which is an indication of the origin of the place.
From July 25, 1952, Paserin belonged to the newly formed Luckau district . On January 1, 1974, the municipality of Paserin was incorporated into Uckro . As part of the community Uckro Paserin belonged from May 25, 1992 to May 31, 2002 to the office Luckau . After the district reform in Brandenburg on December 6, 1993 , the community of Uckro and the district of Paserin came to the newly formed district of Dahme-Spreewald . On June 1, 2002 Uckro and Paserin were incorporated into the city of Luckau .
