Life

Born in Hamburg in 1964, Bielfeldt came into contact with music at an early age . At the age of eight he began taking piano lessons ; followed by harmony , clarinet and saxophone . In 1985 he began the study of music education with a major in piano and graduated from the contact course of popular music at the Music Academy in Hamburg (pop course) with a focus Chanson .

With his compositions , arrangements , productions, texts, singing and playing the piano, he has shaped the entertainment and cabaret industries. In the following years he accompanied the tours of Alfred Biolek , Nana Gualdi , Su Kramer , Hartwig Rudolz , Christiane Weber , Ole Lehmann , Antonia Bill and Gayle Tufts , the inventor of ' Denglish ', with whom he toured eight shows from 1995 to 2003 and created, presented and accompanied four albums.

As a solo artist, Rainer Bielfeldt has so far released six albums and an EP under his own name: Nachtzug (1992), Herzen mit Koffer (1993), Alles nur ein Traum (2003), Singer Sein (2006), The memory of tomorrow (2018), Zwei Leben (2019) and the EP 'Um die Häuser von Berlin' (2005).

He also produces, writes and arranges. In his studio, songs for artists such as: Mireille Mathieu , Mary (Mary & Gordy), Jan Ammann , Claus Vincon , Berlin Comedian Harmonists , Donato Plögert , Emmy & Herr Willnowsky , Irmgard Knef and many others were created. He attached particular importance to the musical for children. In 1990 he wrote ' A week full of Saturdays ' with Paul Maar . It followed u. a. 'Pippi in Taka-Tuka-Land', 'Pippi celebrates his birthday', 'Alice in Wonderland', ' Sams im Glück ', and the two radio play series 'What am I listening to?' & ' Käpt'n Sharky ' with Dirk Bach and Axel Prahl in the title role. The latter celebrated in 2015 as a musical at Hamburg's St. Pauli Theater 's world premiere .

The list of his (co) copywriters includes a. Edith Jeske , Otto Senn, Pe Werner , Peter Lund , Thomas Pigor , Tobias Reitz, Barbara Berrien is now complemented by young talents from the Celle School - the only advancement seminar for lyricists in German, where he lectures and coaches. He also accompanies and leads courses and workshops at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Art .

After a long solo break, his album The Memory of Tomorrow came out in 2017 . This was followed in 2019 by the album 'Zwei Leben', in which he takes current lyrical topics into account, but also does not forget romantic topics. Lyrically it goes u. a. about the social coldness of people and the media, the re-emergence and strengthening of right-wing populist , fascist tendencies . In addition, he also sings hymns to life and love. With 'Zwei Leben' and the song 'Insel named Abendland' he received critical acclaim and a nomination for the German Record Award .

In April 2020, Rainer Bielfeldt installed his new format with Bielfeldt's Encounters with a musical guest and talk guests. For summer 2020, the resumption of 'Mascha' (with Julia Kock) and ' Das Kunstseidene Mädchen ' (with Antonia Bill) is planned in the Berlin ' Bar eines Vernunft '.

Rainer Bielfeldt has lived in Berlin since 2000 .
