The De Valera Government 4 was the seventh Executive Council of the Irish Free State , serving from February 8, 1933 to July 21, 1937.

In the parliamentary elections on January 24, 1933 , Fianna Fáil (FF) , who had ruled since 1932, won an absolute majority with 77 out of 153 seats. On February 8, 1933 Eamon de Valera (FF ) was re-elected President of the Executive Council (Head of Government) with 82 votes to 54 by the Dáil Éireann (Parliament). The ministers were elected by the Dáil on the same day. The appointment of the members of the Executive Council was made by Governor General Domhnall Ua Buachalla . The parliamentary secretaries were appointed by the Executive Board. All members of the government belonged to the Fianna Fáil.

In the following parliamentary election on July 1, 1937 , Fianna Fáil was missing a seat for an absolute majority, but she again provided the government.
