The Reissigwald with Lochhaus is a district of Plauen and is located in the north of the city .

In terms of area, the district is identical to the districts of Reißigwald and Pfaffenhaus . The Reissigwald was incorporated in 1922, the Pfaffenhaus district followed in 1940.

The Reissigwald district consists of 92.4% of the eponymous forest area and 1% of agricultural land . The remaining area is streets and industrial areas. The urban sewage treatment plant is the only development in the extreme southeast .

The Pfaffenhaus district consists of 63.7% agricultural land and 15.4% forest. The Pfaffengut, which is used today as the Vogtland environmental and nature conservation center, is located on the south-western border of the Reissigwald district. The Lochbauernhof is located on the south-eastern border, a homestead from 1648, which today houses a guesthouse and restaurant.

The Reissigwald district with Lochhaus is located in the northeast of Plauen and borders five other districts of Plauen and a municipality in the Vogtlandkreis .
