Unterlosa is located in the southeast of Plauen and borders three other districts of Plauen and two districts of a town in the Vogtland district .

The area of the village consists of 72.6% agricultural land and 21.1% forest . The remaining area is streets, residential and industrial areas.
history
The place was mentioned in a Latin script as in inferiori Lasan in 1265 . Before 1650 Unterlosa belonged to the von Tettau family , then to the Lords of Thoss . The place - it was an extended alley village - was heavily agricultural and had its own manor, which belonged to the Plauen office until the 19th century . The community later belonged to the administrative authority of Plauen and was incorporated into the then still independent city of Plauen on July 1, 1950 .
