The place was mentioned in 1282 as Zwoskwicz . It was a square village in a block corridor . The place belonged to the Plauen Office until the 19th century , later to the Plauen Office and then to the Plauen District . On January 1, 1974, he was incorporated into Kauschwitz . On January 1, 1999, Kauschwitz and Zwoschwitz were incorporated into the then still independent city of Plauen .
