Reissig (also Vorderrei 30 ) is a district of Plauen in the northern part of the city , which was incorporated in 1939.

Reissig is located in the northeast of Plauen and borders on four other districts of Plauen.

The area of the district consists of 47.5% agricultural land and 1.6% forest . The remaining area is streets, residential and industrial areas.

history

The manor house "Am Gut"

In 1474 the desert Gut Reyssig is mentioned. In 1505 it was still a desert , but in 1506 there was an outbuilding on the corridor and later a manor . Around 1900, Reissig was a manor settlement in Guts blockflur . Reissig has been a village since the 19th century, later a rural community with the district Hinterreizess or Pfaffenhaus and Pfaffenmühle . Reissig belonged to the Plauen office until the 19th century , and then to the Plauen administration . In 1939 the place was incorporated into the then still independent city of Plauen . The Pfaffenmühle did not come to Plauen, but to Jößnitz .
