Röttis is a district of Plauen ( northern city area ), which was incorporated into the municipality in 1999. Together with Jößnitz and Steinsdorf , Röttis forms a village .

Röttis is located in the northeast of Plauen and borders two other districts of Plauen and three districts of a municipality in the Vogtland district . In the east, the White Elster forms the border to the neighboring community.

history

The place was mentioned as Rothis in 1244 . It was a forest hoof village . The place belonged to the Plauen Office until the 19th century , later to the Plauen Office and then to the Plauen District . In 1969 he was incorporated into Jößnitz . On January 1, 1999, Jößnitz was incorporated with Röttis and Steinsdorf into the then still independent city of Plauen .
