The Resolution 663 of the UN Security Council is a resolution that the United Nations Security Council voted unanimously on 14 August 1990th After examining the application of the Principality of Liechtenstein to join the United Nations , the Council recommended that the UN General Assembly admit Liechtenstein. The principality was the 160th and at that time the smallest member of the United Nations .

Previously, the Liechtenstein Parliament had unanimously approved membership on December 13, 1989.
